With stories of our French founding, to our Spanish years and finally, the American’s purchase of the Louisiana Territory in 1803, your guide will meander you through the historic French Quarter touching on topics ranging from the founders of the city to the Mississippi River and a few other tidbits of our unique history. Whether you are a first-time visitor or have been here numerous times, our “Pay What You Think its Worth” History Tour will entertain and inform.

This tour is rated PG and is family-friendly.

This tour departs Thursday through Sunday at 10:00am from the corner of Royal and Conti Streets, directly across from Latrobe’s. Please plan to arrive 20-30 minutes early. Reservations are required. Walk-ups are not guaranteed a space, but are welcome to standby.
