3-in-1 Cemetery, Voodoo, French Quarter Ghost Walking Tour

St. Louis Cemetery #1, New Orleans’ oldest, continuously operated, Catholic cemetery, is the highlight of our 3-in-1 walking tour. St. Louis #1 is the most famous of all our cemeteries, where the like of Governors, Civil Rights activists and Marie Laveau herself – the famous Voodoo Queen – are entombed. Discover other voodoo tombs, burial practices, and other fun facts as you meander through St. Louis Cemetery #1.

As the tour heads towards the cemetery, unique facts regarding New Orleans customs, traditions, architecture and superstitions will be discussed. After visiting the most famous tombs in St. Louis #1, a brief break at the Basin Street Visitor’s Center will give you a chance to catch your breath and digest the wealth of information you learned the first half of your tour.

Next, you will delve into the deep history of Voodoo and Congo Square before the tour wraps up near Jackson Square – just blocks from where it began.
